Leo Ilomin, also from Vancouver BC, has enjoyed over 15 years entertaining as an accomplished blues musician. Having started playing keyboards at the age of six, Leo has deep roots in jazz and blues. Jazz, particularly with a Latin flavour, has become an integral part of his repertoire. Reminiscent of Ruben Gonzales from the Buena Vista Social Club which influenced his playing style, Leo's big sound was well received after moving to the Okanagan. Transferring from Midnite Access, Leo's rhythmic "funky/blues" is one of the driving forces behind Moni Funk and the Groove Machine's energy.
